Went to a farmers market in Hayward yesterday and it was wonderful! I’ve been to farmers markets before, but none like this. It was a small market. It was about a block or so, and it smelled amazing.
I smelled fresh cilanto, apples, fresh bread, peaches, corn and so much more. My senses were bombarded with bright colors and fresh flavors. Needless to say I loved my experience. I’m sad I didn’t take many pictures.
Please understand, vendors kept feeding me samples of their wares and I couldnt eat and snap at the same time! I entered the market with the intent to grab lunch afterwards and I left STUFFED.
I started in the back and made my way to the front and loved every minute of it.
I ended up buying: strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, fresh bread, potato’s, cilantro, onions, chili peppers, tomatoes, honey, honey combs, nan bread, apples, and kettle corn.
… I’m totally going back next week. :3
