So I had to think about what would be my first posting in my new blog, Would it be about comic books?  Video Games? Some neat thing that I saw on TV? … and then I saw a friend (thanks Pete), had posted this on his facebook with the caption:

The producers of Lost don’t want any footage of the new season being used in the promos, so networks around the world have had to be creative about how they’re promoting it. If this spanish trailer with subtitles doesn’t get you pumped then you must not be a Lost fan… Very cool

I’m not gonna lie. I’m excited. I’m stoked. I’m a lot of things that I could ramble on about after watching this video. Viva Espana! for setting my excitement for the final season of LOST ablaze.

Can we talk about how excited I am for LOST? I There have been days where all I do is scour the internet for opinions on the significance of Jeronimo Jackson and the importance of Eko’s death. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.

I understand I have a problem. LOST is the only  show that I religiously watch on TV simply because I don’t have cable. A lot of what I watch is online or on Netflix.

I mean, I have this fear in the pit of my stomach. I don’t want it to end. It’s the only show in a long time (next to Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel (but that’s another story),  where I’ve had a wide spectrum of emotions. There have been episodes where I was full on sobbing (really). Nothing on TV had affected me since…. G.I Joe: The Movie (no not the recent one. The cartoon one).

When Duke died:

I remember watching the movie as a kid and being disturbed watching that snake go into Dukes heart. I remember bawling for hours on end because I always thought Duke was the coolest guy in that show. I never finished the movie and it wasn’t until like, 1 year ago that I actually went and watched the movie again and realized that he never really died and he just “went into a coma”.  Turns out the producers thought killing Duke would be traumatic for little kids after just losing Optimus Prime in space before.
.. go fig.
Anyway, my point is it took me YEARS to get over “losing” Duke. What the hell am I going to do when that last episode airs???
Ugg.. I can’t think about it. No no no no!  Don’t make me!
