Another vivid dream.

The colors were so bright. I was a purple streak with yellows and gold.

I was fast and beautiful. I had powers. I ran and fought a demon. I wanted to prove myself to show you I was brave. That I had no fear.

I knew you were always behind me. Trying to reach me but I was so fast.

It was exhilarating to be so powerful. To be so free and scared at the same time.

You finally caught up to me when I fought the demon. I was so proud to show you what I’d done.

I turned to see you…

… But then I woke up.

My heart aches again.
