My first experience with Doctors in Sweden: a dream. I walked into a women’s clinic, was seen in 15 minutes, had my checkup and a new prescription in no time. Super chill.

When I was done, she says “No need to pay for the visit. Go to the pharmacy and pick up your prescription”

I say “which one?”

She says “any of them but give them your Person Number (Social Security). That’s it”

“That’s it?”

“That’s it.”

I walk over to the pharmacy next to my apt, give my person number and get *three months* prescription for ~ $38 dollars.

That’s it. Wow.
